De første forundersøgelser af jord øst for Hjerting Landevej er startet. Salget starter i 2022
VÆKST – Efterspørgslen på byggegrunde i Hjerting er stor. Derfor går Esbjerg Kommune nu i gang med at planlægge et nyt boligområde øst for Hjerting Landevej. Første skridt er en forundersøgelse af den jord, som man regner med at skulle lave en ny lokalplan for. Undersøgelsen skal vise, om arealerne egner sig til at opføre boliger.

”Igennem de seneste år har Esbjerg Kommune oplevet meget stor interesse for de parcelhusgrunde, som er blevet udbudt i Kløvholmparken, Myrthueparken og senest Marbækparken. Derfor er jeg også glad for, at de første forundersøgelser af jord øst for Hjerting Landevej nu er startet, så vi inden for de næste par år kan tilbyde nye grunde i Hjerting. Først skal vi dog i Plan & Miljøudvalget behandle igangsættelsen af en ny lokalplan for området, så vi får lavet nogle gode rammer for de familier, der har lyst til at købe en grund,” siger formand for Plan & Miljøudvalget i Esbjerg Kommune, Karen Sandrini.
Området, der er på ca. 28,5 hektar, er i kommuneplanen for 2018-30 udlagt til boliger. Forberedelsen af en eventuel ny udstykning af byggegrunde på området foregår i dialog med ejerne af jorden.
Hvis Plan & Miljøudvalget godkender forslaget om at sætte en ny lokalplan i gang, vil jordejerne blive hørt i lokalplansprocessen. Når en eventuel ny lokalplan er vedtaget, vil kommunen gå i dialog med ejerne om en ekspropriering og opkøb af deres jord i takt med, at området ønskes byggemodnet.
Det forventes, at de første byggegrunde vil kunne udbydes i sommeren 2022.
