Hurra for de frivillige

Dette nummer af Hjerting Posten er præget af de mange fantastiske aktiviteter, som frivillige lægger i lokalsamfundet. Det opdager jeg nu, hvor vi sidder og redigerer avisen. Men hvor er det da herligt.
Frivillige sørger for at Mindestenen for befrielsen i Hjerting bliver renoveret og sat op på en ny placering, hvor den kan være centrum for et lille torv, andre frivillige knokler med at få Gramshuset klar til udlejning, frivillige i HIF fortsætter det slidsomme arbejde med at samle penge ind til Sports- og Kulturhuset, Hjerting Borgerforening tjener over 100.000 kroner på byfesten til gode, lokale formål, og i Sædding Centret er det de hjemløse, der støttes med et modeshow. Hurra for de frivillige! Og for foreningslivet, der ofte tager over, hvor det offentlige enten ikke kan, vil eller bør involveres. Der er ofte mere dynamik i frivilligt arbejde, og det skaber sammenhold.
Det må vi aldrig glemme.
