BYGGERI – Den gamle posthusgrund i Sædding på hjørnet af Ådalsparken og Gudenåvej skal bruges til skønne boliger med gode kvalitetsdetaljer som franske døre, højt til loftet, stuklofter, fælles orangeri, motionsrum og vinkælder. Navnet er Postparken. Lokalrådet følger sagen tæt.

Det er tidligere tæppehandler Sten H. Bengtsen, der selv bor i et palæ-lignende hus ud mod vandet på Sædding Strandvej, der står bag det cirka 50 millioner kroner dyre projekt med boliger og erhverv. 24 lejligheder på mellem 100 og 140 kvadratmeter skal der være. Kommuneplanen og lokalplanen skal dog laves om af forskellige grunde, selv om der allerede i dag er mulighed for både boliger, erhverv og offentlige institutioner på grunden.

Bygning på 16 meter
Sædding Fovrfeld Lokalråd har bemærket sig, at bygningen er oplyst til at have en bygningshøjde på 16 meter, hvilket er for højt i henhold til de nugældende bestemmelser.
”Dette vil derfor kræve en ændring af den eksisterende lokalplan, derfor skal lokalrådet have forslaget i høring. Lokalrådet vil derfor afvente, at Esbjerg Kommune udsender en ny lokalplan eller en ændring til den eksisterende lokalplan, herefter vil vi komme med vor bemærkninger. Men vi er meget opmærksomme på, hvad der sker i sagen,” siger formand Lise Retbøll.
Og hun behøver tilsyneladende ikke være nervøs for, at rådhuset glemmer den korrekte sagsgang. Politikerne i Plan & Miljøudvalget gav på deres seneste møde således grønt lys til at der nu udarbejdes forslag til kommuneplanændring samt en lokalplan for projektet.
