BYGGEPROJEKT – Smilene var store, da næsten hele bestyrelsen for Jon og Dittes Hus i går mødtes med tre repræsentanter for ’Hjerting Laks-familien’ Kjærgaard samt lokalpressen. Familien Kjærgaard har nemlig besluttet at donere en kvart million kroner til foreningen for at få virkeliggjort en drøm om en tilbygning med en sal på 120 kvadratmeter med plads til 100 personer.
I forvejen har Grandelauget givet tilsagn om 2,3 millioner kroner, mens familien Droob og Ole Andersen har lovet at stille med 250.000 kroner hver. Andre store donorer er også blevet spurgt. Målet er fem millioner kroner, så ’Bodils hus’, der også ejes af foreningen, kan erstattes af noget pænere byggeri.
”Desuden har flere privatpersoner doneret beløb, som udløses efter deres død,” sagde formand Halfdan Andersen.
Den ny sal vil dels kunne bruges til store fester, når de igen bliver tilladte, og da den i modsætning til Stalden ikke får stolper, er der frit udsyn, som er nyttigt ved for eksempel møder og andre halvstore arrangementer.
Ud over salen vil der blive lavet flere toiletter og et anretterrum og formentlig et depotrum.
Bestyrelsen vil nu sætte gang i en kampagne blandt Hjerting-borgerne for at skaffe de sidste midler. Støtte kan indbetales på Mobile Pay-nummeret 89249.
